What's Next for THE MENTALIST

TV Guide's Mega Buzz has the answer as to what's next for Patrick Jane on THE MENTALIST:

"Jane will claim that he killed Red John in self-defense after he learned that Red John was communicating with his mole, Agent O'Loughlin. (We all saw the gun and the phone call, right?) Not so fast, says series creator Bruno Heller. "Not only is there no cell phone with any calls from an FBI Agent named O'Loughlin, but no gun will be found [by the police]," he says, hinting that someone is still pulling the strings. "Within five minutes of the season-opener, Jane is in jail for homicide with no way out. And he and Lisbon, to some extent, start questioning his sanity." There we go — the insanity defense!"

Intriguing, no?

A New Series Regular Joining DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES

Watch with Kristin reveals that DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES is looking for an actor to play a new series regular named Ben. Here is how Ben is described: He is "a sexy, masculine contractor... Ben has the kind of grit and tremendous drive that comes from being a self-made man. Ruthless in business, but with a charming, witty façade, Ben is a powerful confident man."

In other DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES news, The TV Addict.com reveals the following "According to sources, producers have quietly been on the look out for a love interest for Vanessa Williams’ Renee, who moves into town along with his out-of-control teenaged daughter to escape his crazy ex-wife who not surprisingly enough may not be too far behind."

Could the new love interest with a daughter be new series regular Ben? Only time will tell if both spoilers are linked or not.

New Recurring Characters and scoop for 90210

TV Line has shared the following descriptions of recurring characters joining 90210 next season.

  • Austin: A charming and hunky cowboy Ă  la Brad Pitt in "Thelma & Louise." He’s the son of a country music superstar. As such, he’s wealthy, but not in an obnoxious way.
  • Holly: Naomi’s super-wealthy, sorority-obsessed archrival at California U.
  • Jasmeen: Navid’s 18-year-old troublemaking, self-absorbed younger sister.
  • Gabe: The anti-Liam in that he’s friendly, outgoing and extremely communicative. An upperclassman at CU, Gabe forges an instant connection with Annie — but he may have an ulterior motive.
  • Jane: A mysterious new love interest for Liam who became a widow at a young age. Think Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca.
- Producers are looking for someone to play Navid's Uncle Amal, who will be a recurring character who was his father's business partner and is a bad guy who seems charming upon first glance. But underneath, he is ruthless and will do whatever it takes to make more money. Money is his priority, first and foremost. He isn't someone you want to mess with. - Source: Watch with Kristin

- TV Guide's Mega Buzz reveals that Naomi will not simmer down even if pregnant. "In her quest for Greek system dominance, Naomi will butt heads with Holly, the mean-girl president of the most prestigious sorority at CU. When Holly can't control Naomi's characteristic acquisitiveness, she seeks revenge for one particular purchase by hazing the holy heck out of everyone's favorite with-child frenemy."

CASTLE: Spoilers about the New Captain

The new Captain on CASTLE has yet to be cast but a few details have been revealed on Watch with Kristin about the role: "the new boss lady is ambitious, good-looking, career-minded, and is more adept at politics than police work."

TV Line offers the following description for the same character: "the new boss lady cut her teeth in Internal Affairs and views the captain’s chair as nothing more than a stepping-stone to a bigger, more prominent job. She also has a rep for being a bit of a hard-ass to her co-workers, but she also has a fun and flirtatious side."

More DEXTER Spoilers!

Here is a collection of DEXTER spoilers recently released:

- In episode four of season six, called "A Horse of a Different Color," Dex faces off a preacher, a pastor and a bit of a religious fanatic. - Source: Watch with Kristin

- An upcoming episode is about a killing at a high school reunion. - Source: TV Line

- Professor Gellar, to be played by Edward James Olmos, is someone that all of Miami is seeking out. He becomes a big person of interest in some crimes that are being committed in Miami. They are probably the biggest crimes we’ve ever seen on this show. We’re going toward a different kind of serial killer than what we usually see. This is someone more in line with the Zodiac Killer…. He kills people with great conviction. This is probably the first serial killer we’ve had who thinks he’s in the right. Professor Gellar definitely feels like he’s killing for a reason, and Dexter is very, very curious to know what exactly that reason is, and to try to understand it in some way. It’s very intriguing and baffling, and it doesn’t make sense to Dexter. For more spoilers on the upcoming season, click the link of the source. - Source: Entertainment Weekly

William Shatner to Guest Star on PSYCH

Mega Buzz recently revealed that and upcoming episode of PSYCH will see "Shawn and Gus trying to repair Juliet's relationship with her estranged con-man dad." Juliet's father will be, as Hollywood Reporter scooped, played by non other than Captain Kirk, William Shatner. How cool is that?!

Trevor Donovan Leaving 90210

Don't know about you but I've never really liked 90210's Teddy. Then again, I never hated him either. His storylines were a tad too boring for my taste compared the others. So learning, from TV Line, that actor Trevor Donovan, who plays Teddy, would not be a series regular next season did not bother me at all. Especially if the series can introduce a character for whom writers will be able to write somewhat more compelling storylines for.

Trevor Donovan will appear in about 5 episodes next fall which will surely be shaped so to set up Teddy's departure. Maybe he'll regain his tennis magic and go on world-wide competitions?

GLEE Looking for Two New Cast Members

The GLEE Powers That Be are currently casting new roles for the show's third season. According to TV Line, the show is looking for two actresses to play students who'll be enrolling at McKinley High this fall. One is described as "Adele meets Susan Boyle" while the other is beautiful Rebecca "who can sing all kinds of music."

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - Fan Questions: Are the men coming back?

SpoilerFix.com's visitor Meg asks: "Will Mike, Carlos, Tom, and the other men, be back next season on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES?"

Good question Meg as the contract negotiations for the ladies have been much publicized but the men's, not so much.

In a recent article published at TVGuide.com, James Denton, who plays Mike Delfino, says: "All the negotiations worked out, everybody's happy." We know that the ladies signed their contracts to appear in the next season and, based of what Denton said, I'm assuming so did the men.

When announcing its 2011-2012 schedule, the press release ABC sent out listed Ricardo Chavira (Carlos), Doug Savant (Tom), and James Denton (Mike) as part of the regular cast. Not only that, but that list also includes Kevin Rahm (Lee) and Tuc Watkins (Bob)!!! That said, this type of press releases are sometimes not 100% truthful, especially when a show wants to hide the fact that one of the main character will be exiting early one the upcoming season.

One thing is for sure, Tom and Carlos are coming back for sure as they were both mentioned in recently released spoilers about the upcoming season. Bree's new boyfriend, the cop, will also be back.

- The fact that Bree is now dating a cop will make keeping the secret a tad more difficult.

WAREHOUSE 13 - Fan Question: Is Myka Coming Back?

I have received a question from SpoilerFix.com's visitor Larry about WAREHOUSE 13. He asks "My one question is will Myka return to the warehouse or do I have to start watching something else?"

Of course, the exact answer to this question is one of the best kept secrets right now as it's part of last season's cliffhanger. Here are some tidbits I've found:

- Promotional pictures for episode 3.01 does show Myka.... but, as you can see for yourself by clicking on the thumbnail on the right, she is not in agent attire.

- All articles published these past months announcing that Aaron Ashmore is joining the show say that his character is brought in to replace Myka.

- Syfy's official description for the upcoming season says "Syfy's most successful series ever returns for a third season with a key question looming from the gripping season two finale: has Myka (Joanne Kelly) left the Warehouse for good?"

Larry, it looks like you will have to tune in the season premiere to see if Myka will stick around or if you'll have to start watching something else. Personally, I think that Myka will stick around but might not be back at the warehouse for a few episodes. What do you think?

By the way, I watched Season 1 of the show last week and was hooked instantly! I will watch Season 2 when the DVD is released at the end of June so to be able to watch Season 3 as it unfolds.

You can expect WAREHOUSE 13 spoilers to be posted here as they are released.

GLEE: Season 3 Scoop!

Even though production has yet to start on the Season 3 episodes, tiny tidbits are available! It's not much, but it's better than nothing, no? Here is what co-creator/executive producer Brad Falchuk told Entertainment Weekly:

- It's unsure if Sunshine Corazon will return to McKinley... but it's not ruled out.
- Santana's coming out will happen next season.
- There will be some "hot action" for Will and Emma next season.

Falchuk told TV Line that Sam and Mercedes will still be together when the show returns in September.

Note that writers will start their work on the next season sometime in June. So we should have better and more precise spoilers for GLEE in July!
